FWIW, the issue here is the fact that my files are served as XHTML, and disqus breaks under that circumstance. So until this is fixed, I won't be using disqus.

i have the same problem but mine failure only happens to when im at work using there wifi i have no problem when im at home with pages not coming up so im thinking it has to do with the works server or its wifi im still stuck.

Wks v5.5.8 Application failure hr=0x80004003: (null)
I did have Wks 5.5.7 running, upgraded to v5.5.8. I am now getting the above error.Removed and reinstalled v5.5.8 same problem, removed and installed v5.5.7 with still the same problem. I am running WinXP SP3 4gb memory,
